Website Link with Images Not Refreshing

If you're using the Fusion Signage Website feature in the Manage section to display images or websites, and the content isn't refreshing on your screens, the issue is often that the URL you're using doesn't include built-in instructions for refreshing.

This problem is common when URLs are generated via API, scripts, or dashboards that don’t automatically tell Fusion to refresh.

Workaround to Force Refresh:

  1. Visit https://www.base64encode.org/

  2. Enter your website URL into the box and click 'Encode'.

  3. Copy the encoded text.

  4. Append this encoded string to the following URL:
    https://fusion-misc-client-files.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/prevent-caching.html?url=

  5. Use this full URL in Fusion.

  6. Set the content duration in your playlist to match the desired refresh interval.

This method forces Fusion to reload the linked website each time, helping keep your content up to date.
